Experiences from aamchi Mumbai Chapter 1 ...

Hi Friends..
This might not be the first time u are hearing the story from someone who is trying to settle down in mumbai...

Experiencing very difficult sometimes dramatic situations from the very first day in mumbai. I will b completing almost a month's stay here but it still feels miserable to live here with given conditions.


One of the WORST experience I had was :

I reached to Vikhroli bus stop at 7.10am and after 10 min I came to know that there is "BEST strike".... Why the hell they call it "BEST" ??...
I immediately ran to get an auto till the Railway station to get the Local.
After boarding the local I felt that I am one of those 1 trillion ants who r trying to eat a single small grain of sugar... :(
I needed to change the line "CENTRAL LINE" to "WESTERN LINE"...
for that I got down from the local at DADAR station which is the WORST station I hv ever seen.... somehow managed to find the WESTERN platform to go to Goregaon... But.. Due to some reasons (u can say clashes between friends ) I had to take a taxi to goregaon which cost Rs. 216 :(
And all this dramatic journey took 2.15 hours... :(

Dear Mumbai...
I have no problem living with u.. but can u b a bit more informative and helpful ??
How can u do things like this ..?? I even got adopted to ur FAST life but please give a pre-intimations of the disasters go gonna bring... how can u say that there is "this Bandh" or that strike at 11th hour... ?!

I am fortunate enough to get such nice new friends and very helpful neighbours...


There are lot many bad as well as good experiences to share.... :)
